In Polyphonic mode, it acts like an MPE controller.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>5.1 Creating a virtual MIDI Port in MacOS<\/h3>\n<h3><img class=\"wp-image-2355 size-full aligncenter\" data-original=\"https:\/\/pitchinnovations.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/virtualMIDIport.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"915\" height=\"596\" \/><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch &#8220;Audio MIDI Setup&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Open the &#8220;Window&#8221; menu and click on &#8220;Show MIDI Studio&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Double-click on the IAC Driver icon<\/li>\n<li>Activate the &#8220;Device is online&#8221; checkbox<\/li>\n<li>You can rename the Device Name if you like. &#8220;IAC Driver&#8221; is fine.<\/li>\n<li>Create a new port by clicking on the &#8220;+&#8221; button below &#8220;Ports&#8221; (refer the screenshot).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>5.2 Creating a virtual MIDI Port in Windows<\/h3>\n<p class=\"Textbody\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Windows does not offer virtual midi ports, a 3rd party utility is required to provide this functionality. Fortunately, there are a number of options available. A popular option is LoopMIDI, which is free for private and non-commercial use.
