Please make sure to select \u201cFluid Chords STANDALONE\u201d as the MIDI Output in the standalone\u2019s \u201cAudio\/MIDI Settings\u201d and select \u201cNo Sound\u201d as the sound preset.<\/span><\/p>\n

Using Fluid Chords Standalone App with any DAW \u2013 Detailed<\/b><\/h4>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Fluid Chords Standalone App can run outside the DAW. It takes in MIDI from the Keyboard and sends the MIDI to the DAW through the virtual MIDI port called \u201cFluid Chords STANDALONE\u201d which will be created automatically on opening the standalone app.<\/span><\/p>\n

10.1 Setting up the Standalone App with the DAW<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Open the Fluid Chords standalone app.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Go to Settings and choose<\/span>\n
      \n
    1. Your MIDI Keyboard as the MIDI Input<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. the \u201cFluid Chords STANDALONE\u201d port as the MIDI Output<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. Open your DAW and in the settings<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Set \u201cFluid Chords STANDALONE\u201d as the MIDI Input (refer the image below and enable the MPE mode in Ableton 11 and Studio One 5.3 above)<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Disable the keyboard input from the MIDI Inputs temporarily<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. Insert a Synth plugin on a track and choose the \u201cFluid Chords STANDALONE\u201d as the MIDI input<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
