Arpeggiation Parameters
The Arpeggiator section processes the notes from the Note Input and plays them in rhythmic patterns.
Key Parameters
-
Scatter: This parameter changes the distance between notes selected in the note inputs.
-
Variation: This parameter moves the odd notes in the note inputs by changing the distance between odd and even notes. This adds subtle or drastic variations to the existing preset, letting you customize the arpeggio to fit your musical context.
-
Number of Notes: Determines how many notes from the input chord are being used in the arpeggiation. Extra notes are moved to the next octave.
-
Speed: Sets how many notes are cycled before the arpeggio pattern restarts.
-
Gate: Controls the note length of each note in the arpeggio.
-
Start: Adjusts the starting point of the arpeggio pattern in the loop.
Note Output
The Note OUTPUT section filters the arpeggios, through the chosen scale filter.
Scale Filter
-
Scale Quantization: Quantizes the arpeggiated notes to a specific musical scale.
-
Root Note & Scale Selection: Choose a root note and scale (e.g., major, minor) to ensure the arpeggio is harmonically fitting.
-
Custom Scale: Click the Keyboard button to customize the scale by switching on/off of the keyboard.
