It takes MIDI from your keyboard and sends it to the DAW through a virtual MIDI port. In Polyphonic mode, it acts as an MPE controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommended DAWs<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Fluid Pitch Standalone is recommended for Ableton Live 11, Studio One, Digital Performer, Reason, Maschine, Samplitude, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating Virtual MIDI Ports<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MacOS Setup Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launch &#8220;Audio MIDI Setup&#8221;<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open &#8220;Window&#8221; menu and click &#8220;Show MIDI Studio&#8221;<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-click the IAC Driver icon<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Activate &#8220;Device is online&#8221; checkbox<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a new port by clicking &#8220;+&#8221; under &#8220;Ports&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Windows Setup with LoopMIDI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Windows doesn&#8217;t offer virtual MIDI ports natively.
